Who We Are

The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collaborates with local partners to support a broad array of charitable causes in our store communities, including: food insecurity, homelessness, veterans, child welfare, animal rescue, and healthcare services. During times of humanitarian crisis, the foundation’s focus broadens to provide emergency medical supplies, hygienic products, clothing and food for those in need, both domestic and abroad.

New Buy-Give-Get Baby Essentials Program

Thanks to our amazing customers, the Buy-Give-Get Baby Formula initiative was a resounding success, providing 164,000 cans—valued at $3.3 million—to new parents in need. Building on that momentum, we are excited to introduce our new Buy-Give-Get Baby Essentials program! When customers purchase two essential baby items for $20 at checkout, we donate them directly to families in need and reward the customer with a $20 Crazy Deal Gift Card. Through our partner organizations, we will distribute vital items like onesies, sleep sets, and blankets. Together, we are continuing to make a meaningful impact!

22nd Annual OSJL Golf Tournament

The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation held its 22nd Annual golf tournament on Monday, August 10th. The event raised the largest amount in the history of our golf tournament at over half a million dollars! Alongside the OSJL owners, associates, and many generous sponsors, the OSJL Mission Kitchen was featured on-site, giving guests a firsthand look at the impact of their support!

Day of Giving in Worcester

In an unprecedented Day of Giving, the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation partnered with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office to distribute 10,000 cans of infant formula to community organizations assisting families throughout Worcester County, MA. Vehicles packed with formula were dispatched directly to remarkable local organizations, including Catholic Charities, Friendly House, Worcester Housing Authority, Safe Exit Initiative, Project New Hope for Veterans and Families, Yes We Care, El Buen Samaritano, Every Day Miracles, Pernet Family Health, and others!
